Virginia-bred by Althea Richards and owned by ABL Stable, D. Bossone, J. Cahill, P. Donnely, and Phantom House Farm, Just Call Kenny debuted as a 2-year-old in August of 2013 at Monmouth Park. After winning his first race he ran once more in October of 2013 and placed second with Joe Bravo in the irons before making the jump into Stakes races the following year. The colt’s back burner, far behind the pace running style works to his advantage, and, though still very inexperienced as a 3-year-old, it shows he has much potential for becoming a dominant distance horse in the future. So, don’t expect this four-legged athlete to take the lead coming out of the gate or show speed before he’s in the stretch. Like his bloodlines suggest – Hall of Fame stamina runs deep within him.
