Rider Profile: Dorian Cieslak

A personal friend of ours rider Dorian Cieslak has been in the irons since the age of six, but points out that she has only been riding seriously for about six years. The Altamonte Springs, FL resident is currently a junior at Lake Brantley High School and rides out of Waters Edge Stables with trainer Waddy Oursler – whom is very well known in Central Florida’s equestrian community. The last couple of years have been quite the ride (no pun intended) and while she has made some great progress in the saddle she has also experienced major set backs. Expressing gratitude for those that have helped her during the tough times, the 16yr old has grown into a well rounded individual since we first met her back in 2007 and her dedication to the sport is a quality we really admire.
